What’s required:

• Must be 18 yrs old
• Unexpired driver's license (or government-issued ID or state issued ID)
• SSN card
• HS diploma or GED
• CPR certification (if you do not have a current CPR certification, we provide CPR at a discount for CCHT enrolled students)
• TB with negative results within the past 6 months (if you do not have a current TB negative result, you will be required to obtain prior to the end of the first week of class)
• Vaccinations - COVID, Influenza, and Hepatitis B (if you do not have either, you have the option of signing the declination form)
• Shot records (MMR, Tetanus)

The average hourly wage for a Medical Assistant in the United States is $18 as of January 2023, with a typical range between $15 to $24 per hour.  While the typical hourly range is standard, the hourly wage increases with agency assignments.
